On July 20, the ninth National Energy Storage Engineering Conference (hereinafter referred to as the "conference") was opened in Kaifeng, Henan Province. The conference was sponsored by Henan University, the Energy Storage Engineering Committee of Chemical Engineering Society of China, the International Society of Energy Storage Materials and other units, and co-organized by the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering of Guangxi University, Guangxi Key Laboratory of Electrochemical Energy Materials and other units.

With the theme of "Efficient conversion - Green energy storage - Circular development", the conference focused on the cutting-edge issues of advanced energy storage materials, energy storage devices, and energy storage system integration applications, closely focusing on electrochemical energy storage, physical energy storage, computational chemistry and green energy storage technology, energy storage material technology and the development of strategic emerging industries. Discuss the latest developments, challenges and future trends in the field of energy storage technology.

The conference brought together more than 1,000 government representatives, energy industry representatives, scientific research institutions, experts and scholars from all over the country to participate in, with six sub-forums and related project roadshows. Yin Shibin, vice president of the College, was invited to give a keynote speech, and He Huibing, Chen Peican, Liang Jia and other teachers of the college were invited to give presentations at each sub-forum of the conference.
