On June 28, the 2024 Guangxi University Laboratory hazardous waste standardized Management training meeting was held in the Calcium carbonate lecture Hall of Building 1 of our hospital, and relevant professionals from Guangxi Keqing Environmental Services Co., Ltd. were invited to conduct training. Teachers of our laboratory center, laboratory safety management personnel, hazardous waste disposal personnel of each laboratory, and hazardous waste management students of each research group (laboratory) participated in the training meeting.

The meeting mainly introduced the relevant laws and regulations of hazardous waste, the types of common hazardous waste in the laboratory, the release and marking, the temporary storage of waste, the management of accounts, the emergency treatment of hazardous waste accidents and other relevant knowledge of standardized management of hazardous waste in the laboratory, and interacted with teachers and students on the common problems in the disposal process of hazardous waste in the laboratory.

Participants in our hospital said that it is necessary to seriously understand the spirit of this training meeting, combined with the actual work, standardized management of laboratory hazardous waste, and seriously do a good job in laboratory safety.
